Checklist: when it asks you first
When it needs to change something you wrote yourself, conflicts with what you just changed, or would destroy finished images, the assistant shows a checklist first so you can choose what to allow. At other times, it just does the work.
When a checklist appears
The assistant usually does not stop to ask you. It keeps going until it finishes. It shows a checklist first in only three cases:
- It needs to change or delete something you wrote yourself: a sticky note you wrote, a synopsis paragraph you wrote, or an element card you wrote.
- It conflicts with your recent edit: it wants to change something you just changed, and in a different direction.
- It would destroy images that are already drawn: changing the layout of a page that has images, deleting a page that has images, deleting a whole episode, deleting a card, or rewriting the whole planning.
For the third case, it will always ask. If it does not ask, it cannot make the change at all. For the first two cases, it decides on its own.
Other than these three cases, it will not use a checklist to ask you “Do you want to continue?” or “Which direction should I choose?”
Why only ask in these three cases? What you wrote yourself is your judgment. Finished images cost credits. If the assistant quietly changes either one, it feels bad. Other changes do not cost money to adjust, so the assistant does them first. If you do not like the result, you can change it afterward.
What the checklist looks like
The checklist appears in the conversation:
- The top line is small gray text. It explains why the assistant is asking, such as “This will clear finished images.”
- The white card shows the question. Under it, each line has one checkbox, and each line only says one thing.
- The items it suggests doing are checked by default.
- At the bottom are two buttons: “Leave everything as is” and “Apply checked.”
When a checklist is waiting for you, the collapsed assistant capsule in the bottom-right corner shows a red dot.
Items that would destroy images are written from the actual data. For example: “Delete page 3 (progression page; 4 images on it will be lost).” These lines are not written by AI. The system generates them from the real situation. It will not get the page number wrong, and it will not write “Delete” when it means “Keep.”
After you answer
- Apply checked: only the checked items are done, and the assistant keeps going.
- Leave everything as is: nothing is changed, and it will say “Okay, those places are unchanged.”
A checklist you have answered collapses into one line. The question is on top, and below it says “Applied the checked items” or “Unchanged.”
If nothing is checked, you cannot click “Apply checked.” If you do not want to change anything, click “Leave everything as is.”
Special cases
- You already answered in another window: this window will load the result you chose. If it cannot load it, it will ask you to refresh and check again.
- This round has already ended (for example, you interrupted it): the checklist is no longer valid, and you will see “This round has ended, so the checklist is no longer valid.” If you still want to do it, tell the assistant again.
- While a checklist is waiting for you, this round still counts as not finished. Either answer the checklist, or click the stop button to end this round.
