These terms govern your use of Wapopo (wapopo.com). Wapopo is an AI comic creation tool operated by an independent developer ("we"). By registering an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. What the service is
Wapopo turns a story idea into a comic: the AI assistant helps plan the synopsis, character, and page layout, then generates the artwork, which you can edit and export.
2. Your account
You sign up with a phone number or email and are responsible for keeping your login details safe. You must be at least 13 years old; if you are under 18, you need consent from a parent or guardian. One account per person.
3. Credits and payments
Image generation uses credits; planning, writing, and editing are free. Generating one image costs 100 credits. New accounts get 3000 bonus credits.
You can make a one-time purchase of credit packs. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal. Purchased credits do not expire while your account remains active, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be transferred.
Prices are listed in USD. Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments, which handles payment collection, applicable taxes, and payment methods (credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, WeChat Pay). Taxes may be added at checkout based on your location.
If an image can’t be generated because of a technical problem, its credits are refunded automatically. For refunds of purchased credit packs, see the Refund Policy.
4. Your content
To the extent permitted by law, you keep your existing rights to the stories, prompts, and images you create with Wapopo. You grant us permission to store, process, and display this content only as needed to provide the service to you.
Any reference images and text you upload must be something you have the right to use. AI-generated images may resemble other works. You are responsible for how you use and publish your comic.
5. Prohibited uses
You may not use Wapopo to create or distribute: illegal content; sexual content involving minors; content that impersonates or fakes a real person or their likeness (deepfakes); content that harasses, threatens, or discriminates against others; or content that infringes others' rights. You may not attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse engineer the service. We may remove violating content and suspend accounts.
6. Availability and changes
We do our best to keep Wapopo running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may change features or prices; price changes will not affect credits you already purchased. Updates to these terms will be posted on this page and the date above will be updated.
7. Account deletion
You can stop using the service at any time and request account deletion by email. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. If we close your account without cause, unused purchased credits will be refunded.
8. Disclaimer and liability limits
The service is provided "as is." AI output may be inaccurate or unexpected. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, excluding conflict of laws rules. Mandatory consumer protection laws in your country still apply.
