Wapopo

How to turn a story into a comic with Wapopo

Five steps, and you can step in at any of them.

Free credits on sign-up — enough for your first episode. No credit card.

1. Pick a style

Choose one of the official styles — black and white manga, Korean manhwa, anime, chibi, xianxia or storybook watercolor — or upload a few images to copy your own style.

2. Tell your story

One sentence is enough. Longer stories work too.

3. Check the plan

Wapopo writes the outline, the characters and the pacing of the episode. Read it, change anything, or just continue.

4. Pages and panels

Each page gets a panel layout, a description of every panel and the dialogue. Then the panels are drawn, using each character's reference so they stay consistent.

5. Edit and export

Fix a line of dialogue without redrawing, redraw a single panel, and export the episode as PNG, ZIP or PDF.
